Special Recognition of Year Submission Requirements

Future Leader of the Year Award 
Please nominate an individual whom you feel would be worthy of such recognition based upon the following parameters:

•35 Years or Younger
• Highly ethical standards
• Integrity
•Professionalism
• Industry Knowledge
• Cooperation
• Commitment to Professional Development
•  Member in Good Standing with CBA

**No more than seven years as a licensed Salesperson or Broker**

You may nominate, and vote for, a member of your company for the Future Leader Award.

Your nomination must be accompanied by a narrative, not to exceed 200 words, explaining why this individual is worthy of the Future Leader Award. (self-generated deals, business acumen, charitable efforts, etc.)


​Project of the Year Award
Please nominate a team responsible for a specific project in Massachusetts that has transformed, redeveloped, or introduced an exceptional addition to the real estate landscape. Eligible teams may include participants from ownership, development, leasing, construction, operations, or related disciplines.

Nominated teams should demonstrate excellence in the following areas:
  • Cooperation
  • Professionalism
  • Integrity
  • Credibility
  • Innovation
  • Resourcefulness
  • Effectiveness in adding value to both the asset and the surrounding community

Self-nominations are permitted, and nominees may vote for their own company or team.
Each nomination must include a narrative of no more than 200 words outlining why the team merits recognition as Project of the Year.

​Collaborating Partner of the Year Award
Please nominate a Collaborating Partner, (architectural firm, law firm, construction services firm or other vendor partner) who played a significant role in the completion of a real estate transaction in 2025. Nominees are characterized by their professionalism of benefit to the members of the real estate community through their leadership, education, service, philanthropy and/or vision.
Your nomination must be accompanied by narrative, not to exceed 100 words, explaining why this company is worthy of the Collaborating Partner Award (100 Word Count Restriction).

McCall Leadership Award
Please nominate an individual whom you feel would be worthy of such recognition based on the following criteria. This is an annual award given by the CBA as voted by its membership (the CBA brokers). The recipient is an industry leader in the categories noted herein, and is only eligible to win the award once during his/her career.

• High ethical standards
• Professionalism
• Industry experience
• Civic/charitable involvement
• Consistent successful record
• Visibility
• Member in good standing with RE&FA

Please note:
  • A minimum of fifteen years of industry experience as a commercial real estate broker is required.
  • Must be licensed as a broker or salesperson by the MA Board of Registration
  • You may nominate, and vote for, a member of your company for the McCall Leadership Award. 
The McCall Leadership Award nominations must be accompanied by a statement of the nominee’s background including:
  • years in the commercial brokerage industry
  • evidence of community involvement
  • noteworthy transactions completed
  • involvement and support of the commercial brokerage community
